Old guys at the co-op

I'm at the co-op in Bellingham, WA. Nice place! There's some retired guys drinking coffee and cream soda at the next table. One of them said, "What kind of a car do you think you'll get in heaven?" Another replied, "I'll be lucky if I get a damn skateboard." I hope I get a sense of humor one of these days. (Heck, I hope I get to retire someday.)

Hey, wait-

What the hell are you doing in Bellingham?

Announcing a merger with Microsoft? Producing the Sonics reunion record? Having a cup of coffee? Make a wrong turn while driving to Montpelier?

Mark, been checking up on your blog...

Heard that you were there for a visit with Uncle Jim. It is a scarce thing but hopefully fun. While he is out there relaxing and fishing, and you and my neice Sarah are vacationing, Em, Carl and I are still here in Frederick and nothing is happening here, except for major "merger stuff" going on with the bank. It's getting crazy here with only 8 days left! Am thinking there aren't any branches in VT but still glad to be working for a "green" company, and one voted as one of Forbes best 10 (or so). Guessin' that makes me lucky?

Keep in touch, tell Sarah hello, and remember that family is a good thing... All family..., even the "in-laws". Have fun in Bellingham!
