Deconstruction of a Test Wall
The following pages document the destruction of a straw-bale garden wall at The Canelo Project in southern Arizona. Note that a garden wall is different than a wall enclosing a conditioned space, and that walls in houses have (or should have) drastically different exposures to the weather. Any information extrapolated from these pages and applied to straw-bale homebuilding should bear that in mind (for better or worse).
