Biosphere 2
In his former life as a contractor, one of the things David Eisenberg of The Development Center for Appropriate Technology did was work as the glazing specialist and troubleshooter on the construction of Biosphere 2.  Kinda impressive. But personally, I think he's doing far more important work these days... and I'm not just saying that because the light was bad when I took these pictures.
