| After. Everything recycled, salvaged, repurposed, or on sale. The floor in back of the red tile is the lath from behind the plaster used to good effect (if not a particularly "strong" floor material). |

| After things in St Paul fell apart, I was planning to go live in South Dakota, an hour or so from this. Is it art or vandalism? |

| Instead, I went to New Mexico in this (1955 Ford) and lived in it until I got a 1946 Beck (no photo) which I traded for the promise of a drum about a year later (still no drum). After that I lived in a sort of canvas quonset thing until I left New Mexico. |
